This is not only one of the first committees in UMSA, but in the whole IFMSA.

SCOME vision

Medical students achieve optimal professional and personal development to reach their full potential as future physicians in order to improve the health care system globally.

SCOME mission

To be a platform through which medical students around the world work together to develop medical education. They come together in SCOME to share experiences and study current issues of medical education, improve it and be able to fully benefit from it both personally and professionally.

Directions of SCOME work:

⁃ Acquisition of medical skills and acquisition of clinical knowledge;
⁃ Protecting and supporting the mental health of medical students, interns and doctors;
⁃ Formation and improvement of the medical education system, advocacy in this area.

National SCOME projects:

My Medical English — interactive classes in medical English).

Cerebroom — psychological trainings and master classes for medical students.

К.О.Д.О.Н. — club of discussion of diagnostics of certain nosologies.

CAREmat — is giving educational lectures.
